Anonymity is encouraged but if you rather post your fill on ao3 and post the link you can do that. (Also consider adding it to the collection)
If your prompt or your fill contains one of these themes it has to be tagged at the the beginning:
- dub-con, non-con/rape, incest, violence, underage, necrophilia, and bestiality.
- If the next chapters of your prompts require any of those warnings please add them at the beginning of the new chapter
No negative comments or hate or kinkshame. This is a Your Kink Is Not My Kink space. Also, consider that some people start writing in kink memes because the anonymity gives them courage! Be nice and leave supporting comments! :D

- a special dispensation is made for real people who were written about in literature of said centuries but maybe lived previously. For example this round allows works by Shakespeare and Shakespeare had a lot of real people in his plays (Julius Caesar, Henry V, Richard III and so on). You can prompt/fill the shakespearean version of these people.

Here you'll find the rules for the round of October 2019. There aren't many but they need to be followed for this meme to have a coherent theme and a decent environment that everyone can enjoy.

Kinktober! Our Holy Month! We are so excited to organize the new round of Corsets&Lemons during such a time of the year!

I want to point out--because I realized that I never actually outright stated it--that you are welcome to post works unprompted. So if you write something for your kinktober list and it fits the theme of the round (so 16th century to 18th century. But also, don't forget that we are opening again the older post, so you can go and add stuff for the 19th century round as well) you're very welcome to post it here!

We're pleased to announce a new round of the Corsets&Lemons kinkmeme!

After June's incredible round we've decided to move back in the years and focus on works produced from 16th century to 18th century. (So from year 1500 to year 1799).

Yes.

That includes... Shakespeare

But also De Sade (although I don't think any of us can make up badwronger stuff than De Sade. Yes, take this as a challenge.), DeLaclos, Cervantes, Milton, Swift, Richardson, Coleridge, Defoe, Marlowe, Basile, Goldoni, Molière and more.

During all of kinktober! From 1st of October 2019 to 31st.

We'll re-open the old 19th century post too!

So that you can continue to prompt and fill there as well. So in the end this round will cover SO MANY YEARS! Yay!

One thing: since we'll have two posts open, one for the 1500-1799 and one for 1800 just please be careful where you post your stuff. We mods will be moving prompts from one post to the other but if you help us we'll be eternally grateful!

How do I sign up?

You don't. There's no need for sign ups. If during the meme's round you feel like writing smut one evening you can come here and scroll the prompts and see if anything strikes your fancy and start commenting right away. No prior commitment.

I'm new to fandom and I'm so confused by everything

I know a lot of people are inviting friends over this thing because it skirts the line of fandom interests with a theme this broad. So I thought it would be a good idea to do some basic explanation, because I realize that it is an entirely new language and a lot of people may be confused by it.

What does it mean that it needs to be tagged

We have a rule that says that everything (prompts, fills) that includes these themes ( dub-con, non-con/rape, incest, violence, underage, necrophilia, and bestiality ) where you are obliged to warn people in advance!

That means that before the prompt, either in the subject of the comment or in the comment itself you'll need to write the tag that applies. Something like

Bestiality, underage Pinocchio/Lucignolo 
they are both donkeys

Simple as that. We don't require particular formatting, we need for you to spell the words correctly (people will have scripts that hide comments with certain words in it so if you mis-spell them it won't work. If you're interested in such a script you can find the instructions to install it here) and to write it at the beginning, so that people will be forewarned.

Words you may encounter

prompt - an idea for an eventual story or work (art is allowed as well). You leave it anonymously and some other anonymous person might see it and get inspired

fill - either a fanfic or a fanart (other kinds of medias are welcome as well. Wherever you want to go with your creativity) that is inspired by a prompt

fanfic - fiction/story written by a fan

fanart - art drawn by a fan

ship - short for 'relationship', they are usually written with a slash sign / in this way: Elizabeth bennet/Mr Darcy.

m/m - a ship composed by two men

f/f - a ship composed by two women

f/m - a ship composed by a man and a woman

canon - Everything that's present in the original, official work.

AU - Alternative Universe. A universe that still has the same characters with roughly the same personality and attitudes and history but it's different in some way. "Modern AU" means that the same characters from that book are into a modern days setting.

Non-con - Non Consensual, rape fantasies basically.

Dub-con - Dubious consent

BP - Bonus Points. It's added to prompts when someone wants to add some little detail that would make them happier

AYRT - "Anon you are referring to" it's an easy way to respond back to someone when you are all anonymous

DA - "Different Anon"

op - "original prompter" (or "original poster")

RPF - Real Person Fiction. Fanfiction about people who are indeed real and have lived or are still alive. In this particular event we are focusing only on real people who lived in the 19th century

Ao3 - Ao3 is Archiveofourown.org the biggest archive for fanfictions (and fan-works) on the web. It's a non-profit organization created by fans for fans and entirely staffed by volunteer fans. It's the safe place where authors can go and publish their works of fiction and know that no corporation or association will be able to take it down for any reason.

Fandom etiquette

Your kink is not my kink might be the most important in this case. If something is not your fancy, if a ship irritates you in some way, if a kink is really not your thing, just scroll on.
If you like something COMMENT! We are all anonymous, no one will know that you liked that filthy filthy shameful fic! But the author of that filthy filthy shameful fic will be very happy about it!
"PLS UPDATE" and comments such as those are not the absolute best in terms of helping an author write more. Not everyone is like that of course but often they feel discouraging in a way 'oh come on I just spent this much writing all of that and you didn't even comment on it and you already want MORE?', the good way to do it would bee to write a bit about how you liked a chapter/what you liked about it and that you're eager to read more.
Do not continue fightings. If you see an anti comment that escaped the mods' notice do not feed the troll and start fighting back. Just come to one of the mods and we'll delete the comment and the peace will be restored. This shouldn't become a forum on what kind of fiction is ok to write or not.

What is with all these citruses puns??

The citrus scale is an old old fandom rating system that got a resurgence in the last few months after Tumblr started banning nsfw content and nswf related keywords.

It is used to measure the intensity of 'smut' and romantic interactions in a fanfic.

Different citruses different kind of porn!

Of course nobody actually agrees with what fruit correspond to what so we're keeping it in the puns and titles.

So, the theme is huge and wide and frankly so many things qualify. Yes, it allows rpf of people who lived in an entire century, it allows basically all work of fiction as long as they were published in that century. Yes, theatre and poetry as well.

A few ideas on how big the scope of this is and what you could prompt and fill about:

Jane Austen, the Brontë sisters, Elizabeth Gaskell and all the stuff that makes you swoon
Decadent poets such as Lord Byron, Shelley (yes, poems and theatre are ok!)

Hello everyone!
Here the rules you'll need to follow. There aren't many but they need to be followed for this meme to have a coherent theme and a decent environment that everyone can enjoy.

Everything in the kinkmeme stays anonymous. Please never out anyone else either. Everyone is anon. (If you've never used DW before and don't know how to do that go here!
If your prompt or your fill contains one of these themes (dub-con, non-con/rape, incest, violence, underage, necrophilia, and bestiality) it has to be tagged, either in the title or as first thing in the comment!
- The obligatory warnings are: dub-con, non-con/rape, incest, violence, underage, necrophilia, and bestiality. Please spell the words correctly as people will be using automated scripts to hide those comments.
- If by any chance your fill goes toward a different direction than you thought it would and you need to add one of those warnings please do it as soon as possible, at the beginning of the new comment, so that people can stop reading it in time.
This is in order to help people blacklist these themes and warn everyone who doesn’t want to read fics containing them. (And help people who instead are looking for them!). Any other tag you want to add is welcome, but those are the obligatory ones.
No negative comments or hate or kinkshame. This is a Your Kink Is Not My Kink space. If something doesn't strike your fancy just scroll on! No adaptations. We are trying to get back to the source material. This doesn't mean the you're not allowed to write wild AUs, just that if you write your Pride & Prejudice modern au it shouldn't start from Bridget Jones' diary or Lizzie Bennet Diaries but it should be an AU that's yours. (More about this in the FAQs)
RPF is allowed for people who lived in the 19th century.
The theme of the meme is 19th century. So every work created in the 19th century applies. (see guidelines below to understand where this rule is more flexible than the others)

While we have obligatory tags (let's repeat those: dub-con, non-con/rape, incest, violence, underage, necrophilia, and bestiality), you can add all the tags you need to facilitate people in their reading. If you think your work has a specific trigger or content or anything please feel free to add it at your leisure. If you need to add more tags down the way (while you're like... maybe posting part 4 or 5) please write those tags at the beginning of the comment! The Prompts&Fill lists will have the tags you specify as well, for easier search of your fic.
1800/19th century works only. We're focusing on this period because it's ripe for an anonymous kinkmeme and it's a good guideline, but if you want to go to books that for example were published in the 1920es I'm not going to be sad. Or in 1780 or such. Just avoid modern/contemporary literature or like... centuries off. We'll be flexible on this.
Please title your fill! It will help us a lot when we try to update the fill list!
If your fill has multiple parts please number your parts! It will help every reader a lot in trying to understand what they should read at what point!
Nest your fills! It will be easier for people who want to write a second fill on the same prompt and it's just easier for all of us to read. (don't know what I'm talking about? Go here!)

Dreamwidth has this amazing little userscript that help you do what New X-kit does on Tumblr: hide posts (comments!!) that contain certain words.
It is not an official Dreamwidth script and as such the installation is not the most strightforward.

I'm pleased to announce Corsets And Lemons, an anonymous kink meme focused around 19th century literature. Everything is still a bit a work in progress (as such some links don't work).

What the hell is an Anonymous Kink Meme?

Eheh, you’re in for a lot of filthy fun!

A Kink meme is a raw dirty, unpolished fest where everyone will be anonymous and writing each other ficlets of various lengths fulfilling each other’s kinks and desires.

It’s not about publishing that polished masterpiece you’ve worked for a week after getting that prompt, it’s about filling quick, dirty, short fics, trying out new things, write the stuff you wouldn’t admit to, not in a million years.

It’s also great if you’ve never written anything and want to try in a environment where no one is judging you, your abilities and your kinks.

(Seriously, I’m going to delete negative anti comments as soon as I see them. It’s in the rules.)

Everything is going to be anonymous, both the prompting and the filling! You can publish the fanfics on your ao3 account after the kink meme is over if you wish! But meanwhile, everything on the kink meme itself will be strictly anon.

Corsets & Lemons is a multi fandom event. We're going to allow every book/work that was first published in the 19th century.
